guttabeta® star – the star among the dimpled membranes

Maximum safety

The high pressure stability of the guttabeta® star dimpled membranes can be attributed to the special star-shaped geometry of the studs. This design raises the value of the membrane to more than 50% above that of comparable traditional dimpled membranes. The ridges reinforce the studs and are excellent at diverting pressures. This means that the HDPE material achieves a particularly high mechanical resilience. The well-established physical and chemical properties of HDPE are unaffected by this.

In a vertical installation, the high pressure resistance of the guttabeta® star dimpled membranes makes it possible for them to absorb the ground pressure on the insulation at a much better rate. The load-bearing capacity and resilience of the studs increase in a horizontal installation.

guttabeta® drain – the high-tensile drainage membrane with filter fleece

guttabeta® drain is a special dimpled membrane with laminated filter fleece for the highest performance. The filter fleece, made of tear-proof and decay-resistant polypropylene, prevents the dimpled structure from being filled with slurry. At the same time the membrane’s drainage channels always stay clear. This results in an efficient dewatering process and a continuously clear air chamber that permits more seepage water to drain than regular dimpled membranes.

guttabeta® drain plus –with filter fleece and sliding foil

This dimpled membrane was developed specifically for the sealing of masonry with permanently elastic thick coatings. guttabeta® drain plus consists of three functional layers that are connected to a compact laying unit.

  • Foundation wall protection when sealed with thick coatings
  • The sliding foil prevents spot pressures and acts as a sliding surface for the dimpled membrane when the fill soil is set or otherwise moved.
  • Laminated, decay-resistant filter fleece prevents the membrane channels from being covered with slurry
  • Drainage systems for all floors or slopes
