Opt for our long-lasting dimpled sheet with a sliding layer
Long-term protection for your home: Gutta dimpled sheet with sliding film prevents damage to coatings, thereby providing exceptionally durable foundation insulation – perfect, for example, when sealing with thick coatings. The drainage is suitable for all floors or slopes, and is highly versatile thanks to a three-part functional structure.
Dimpled sheet for thick coating and foundation insulation
Gutta dimpled sheet also impresses with its sheer durability. The material is highly pressure resistant, shock- and break-resistant, highly tear- and root-resistant, and resistant to abrasion. The blister padding is rot-free, toxicologically harmless, drinking water neutral and chemical resistant. In short: it is both a safe and reliable choice.
Blister padding protects against point loads
The sliding film prevents point loads from occurring and acts as a sliding surface for the dimpled sheet during setting, or during displacement of the filling soil. An additional important advantage for foundation insulation: A laminated, rot-proof filter fabric prevents the channels in the dimpled sheet from becoming clogged, ensuring that drainage continues smoothly.
Numerous sealing options
Especially when sealing masonry with thick coatings, dimpled sheet with special sliding film is the right choice. Make sure that your foundation’s wall seal is reliably protected and install a reliable drainage system on all your floors today, even on sloping surfaces. When laying the membrane, make sure that the dimples are facing the wall. Dimpled sheeting is laid with its fleece facing the soil. Vertical installations are also possible.
Laying dimpled sheet with fleece and sliding film
When laying a new strip, make sure that strips overlap by at least 10 cm. If necessary, a tight connection between the strips can be formed by using double-sided highly adhesive butyl tape. Pipe passages and window sections can be cut out with a hooked blade.
Securely and permanently fastening dimpled sheeting
Depending on the substrate, you can attach dimpled membrane with mounting dowels from Gutta. To finish installation, we recommend that you use our cover profile. To ensure optimal air circulation, the profile is mounted at a distance of 10 mm from the top edge of the dimpled membrane. That way, you can rest assured that your drainage is working properly and your foundation insulation is effective.
